| Kaliviani Monastery |
 | The monastery of Panagia Kaliviani is located at the 59th km on the road Iraklion-Phaistos. The monastery was built during the second Byzantine period. The small Byzantine chapel was painted with frescoes but most of them are today destroyed.

| Kamilari |
 | The village of Kamilari is located 2,5 km west of the archaeological sight of Phaistos and 2.5 km from the sea, where the resort of Kalamaki is sited.

| Kapetaniana |
 | This village is situated at an altitude of 750 m above sea-level, 11 km away from Asimi. It is not mentioned in any of the Venetian censi, though its Byzantine church dates back to the 15th century.

| Knossos Palace |
 | Knossos is the site of the most important and better known palace of Minoan civilization. According to tradition, it was the seat of the legendary king Minos. The Palace is also connected with thrilling legends, such as the myth of the Labyrinth with the Minotaur, and the story of Daidalos and Icaros. |
| Komos |
 | One and a half kilometers after Pitsidia a branch of the road leads to Kommos, the ancient port of Phaistos and one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Crete.

| Koudouma Monastery |
 | The monastery is dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary and lies to the west of the Aspes or Martelos headland, hidden in a small sandy bay by the Lybian sea.

| Lentas |
 | The name Lendas comes from the word lion (leondas) because the peninsula has the shape of a lion seen from high up. Lendas is an ancient Greek and Roman site, and has Byzantine churches of interest. It is also an anchorage point on the south coast of Crete.

 | This fertile valley, running east-west along the south coast of Crete, is where you will find several original towns and villages, as well as various archaeological sites and other interesting places. Although the accommodation and other tourist facilities are not up to much (yet), the plain is within easy reach from the hustle and bustle of the north coast, or you might just find the authentic atmosphere just what you have been looking for. |
| Mires |
 | The village of Mires is 53km south of Iraklion on the road Iraklion - Agia Varvara - Agii Deka - Mires. It is a busy commercial town in the centre of the Mesara Plain. There are a number of Byzantine churches in the area near Mires.
