Comments:	We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and we have loved every minute of it! The beautiful clean swimming pool and the garden was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. In the evening a short stroll to the beach with many restaurants! Breakfast very good and served next to the pool!! And most of all the very nice Helena! And very friendly sons!! Very good value for money but not easy to find (little sign) The rooms basic but very clean and with a little welcoming gift!! We are coming back! Family Devos

Comments:	We have been there in last week of May. Weather was just perfect. We got there before heat and still had moore than 28 celsius. Hotel looks like small oasis in sourranding area. Very well kept, clean, green with lovely swimming pool plus friendly owner( she was very helpfull!). The rooms were in good size, clean every day. Always nice breakfast, easy and light. Hotel is situated in quiet area in walking distance from beach. We hope to go back soon to Matala, prefebly same hotel. Thanks

Comments:	Nous avons séjourné 14 jours au Dimitris Villa en août 2009 et c'était notre premier voyage en Crète. L’accueil d’Eléna et ses enfants est très chaleureux. L’hôtel familial et très bien situé, tout près du centre de Matala et de la plage. Notre chambre n'était pas très grande mais très propre, ainsi que la salle de bain et chaque chambre a un balcon. La piscine est fabuleuse et d’une propreté exceptionnelle et l’environnement est magnifique. Pour les petits déjeuners et dîners nous avons profité d'une cuisine simple mais délicieuse et copieuse. Nous avons rencontré au Dimitris des personnes très attachantes. Un grand merci pour votre hospitalité Eléna, Marianthi et Girwgos ainsi que la dame qui sert les petits déjeuners et fait le ménage, mais dont on ignore le prénom. Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel à tous les voyageurs. A bientôt.

Comments:	We've been there in September 2008 and it was our first time in Crete. We were welcomed heartily by the owner and her son. Seems they have already awaited us (our flight was delayed) because they asked if we got lost on the way from the airport to Matala which is about a 1 1/2 hours drive. Our room was not big but very clean aswell as the bathroom. There was enough space for our clothings and stuff. They have a small pool with a fantastic enviroment there and it's good enough to cool you down after a hot day's hike. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Matala therefore it's very quiet there. It's not a hotel to party ;) It's about a 300 m walk to the village of Matala, the beach and the caves. It's a small hotel with about 15 rooms with a little balcony or terrace in front of each room. Usually you have to check out until 12 pm. Our flight was at night and we asked the owner if we could leave our stuff at the reception which was ok for her. Additional to that she invited us to use her shower before we leave if we wanna spend our last day at the beach. I was very surprised. I never had such an offer before and we were happy we could use it. Thanks for your hospitality Elena :)

We had a wonderful time in Crete and thought Matala was delightful. I just wanted to thank you for your help in making our stay comfortable and relaxed.
